Engagement Portrait Session
Joshua is finishing up grad school at the University of Michigan. Jenny, an alumni of UW in Seattle, is working in Washington DC. How did they meet? You will have to ask them that yourself, but I could tell they are perfect for each other. Jenny’s personality is so bright and she has an amazing smile, but I think it’s her smarts that attracted Jenny to Joshua. Joshua is clearly intelligent, but I think it’s his generosity and soft spoken nature that must have attracted him to Jenny. I could be wrong, but it sounded good anyway =).
We took these pictures in Fremont and ended up near the water front at Myrtle Edwards Park. Towards the end of the engagement portrait session, as we were walking back to the car, I found out how small this world really is. It’s true what they say about 2 degrees of separation or was it 5 degrees or 6? What happened was, I asked Joshua and Jenny where they would live after Joshua graduated with his doctorate in electrical engineering and they said possibly in California. I jokingly told Joshua he should work for Samsung. The reason I said this was because my wife’s cousin graduated from MIT and went to go work for Samsung. I went on to tell Joshua that Samsung was sending our cousin to Stanford. Long story short, Joshua asked me what his name was because my wife’s cousin sounded familiar to him. I told Joshua and amazingly enough, they both went to Seoul National University and were good friends. I tell you… it’s a small world after all.
