One of our wedding clients referred her relative who was 9 months pregnant to us for Maternity | Pregnancy Portraits. I figured my wife’s future pregnancy pictures would be the only pregnancy portraits I would ever take. I always thought pregnancy | maternity pictures were for woman photographers, but I was wrong. The session was totally professional and I really enjoyed the artistic aspect of capturing the human body, especially one that was 9 months pregnant. I really give a lot of credit to my client for trusting us with such a personal experience. I told her I had never done maternity pictures before, but she trusted us after being impressed with our work from our wedding work. The pictures came out really amazing if I say so myself, but I can only show you this for now. I think my client might have just had her baby so I’ll need permission from her to show more after she recovers. We’re supposed to have a second portrait session after her baby boy’s a month or two old.

We normally have Life Group meetings every other Saturday. Today was Steve and Jison’s turn to lead the meeting, but Allison Suan decided to make a surprise appearance into this world. She showed up, after 19 hours of labor, with a full head of hair and made everyone that saw her smile. These pictures were taken only three hours after Allison was born! Dr. Kang of Shoreline Family Dentistry is upgrading his website and asked us to take some pictures for him.
