Mai and Tommy got married at Seattle’s Blessed Sacrament Church. It actually felt like two weddings because we photographed their traditional tea ceremony first and after a brief break went to Blessed Sacrament for the wedding ceremony at the church. The most memorable thing for me was how fun the wedding party was. They were joking around the whole day all the while being helpful to the bride and groom whenever they needed it. Also, the Chinese food we ate was good! Yum… Thanks Mai and Tommy. It was a beautiful day.

Tony and Trinh’s wedding had it all! A traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony, a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony and a crazy wild wedding reception at the New Kowloon Seafood Restaurant in the International District of Seattle. Their wedding ceremony was at the St. Pius X Catholic Church in Mountlake Terrace.

We really enjoyed taking Tony and Trinh’s wedding pictures and engagement pictures. They treated us like family. Tony’s humor and Trinh’s smile were always keeping us on our toes. They even invited us to sit with them at their dinner table during the reception which was a first, but knowing how much of a people person Tony and Trinh are it didn’t surprise us. We’ll have their slide show up with pictures from the reception in a few weeks…

James Sun and Julie invited some of the married folk from ANCC to a 1st birthday party celebration for their adorable daughter Karis. In Korea, the 1st birthday of a child (dol also spelled tol) has always been considered very important and families celebrate it with a big party. Much like, traditional Korean marriages the individual wears the traditional Korean costume known as hanbok for this special occasion. To see the rest of the pictures CLICK HERE (password required).

Edgar celebrated his birthday with a grand Armenian birthday celebration at a European banquet hall in Bellevue, WA. Edgar was referred to us by Sergey and Elona whose wedding we photographed last year at Bastyr University Chapel. Armenians definitely know how to celebrate with lots of amazing food, beautiful woman, drinks, and music! It was great to see Edgar so happy.
