What was I doing on 07/07/07? Of course I was shooting a wedding! So were a million other wedding photographers. My friend and photography mentor Dawn Davis’ husband, Bob Davis from Lastoria Foto, was busy shooting one too! Whose? You may have heard of Tony Parker (NBA San Antonio Spurs star) and Eva Longoria (star of Desperate Housewives)! Those two celebrities were wed at Saint-Germain-l’Auxerroix church in Paris and Bob Davis was one of the official wedding photographers! Dawn’s been updating their blog so you can check out what she says at www.lastoriafoto.info.
Here’s a picture of Bob Davis (far right) at work (Photo by Jean-Paul Pelissier/Reuters):

This is what the unofficial photographers aka paparazzi have to do (Photo by Benoit Tessier/Reuters):

As for me, I was happy photographing some celebrities of my own here in Bellevue.

We’ll do a full post about their amazing wedding in the near future, but I just have to share this last picture!
This is Aria (flower girl and niece of Alice) and Enby (8 year old flower pup) as they entered during the processional. SOOO CUTE!

SHEER JOY! That is how I would describe this image of my adorable niece, Izzy. I was putting together my cousin’s wedding album and I just had to take a break to post this image. It’s amazing how quickly children grow up. Since my sister and their family live in Chicago, we only get to see Izzy a few times a year and it is really amazing how this little baby has grown so quickly… I miss her. I couldnt choose a favorite between the black and white picture vs color so I posted both. Last year we spent Memorial Day weekend in Chicago and she only knew a few words. Now, she speaks so intelligently you would think she was a lot older than she really is. Pictures from last years Memorial day weekend HERE. This year, we won’t get to see Izzy, but I wanted to post something about her.

Most recent picture of Izzy still loving those bubbles!

I just totally love these two pictures Rebekah took of this young ring boy at a wedding we did at Kiana Lodge last year. Look how long his natural eye lashes are!

Picture below taken by Rebekah Kim of Living Life Media at a recent wedding we shot in Federal Way. Izzy is growing up so quickly and she’s not even 3 yet! They had to go back to Chicago soon after the wedding, but hopefully we’ll see them again very soon.

Angela and Kris got married last year in Tacoma, WA at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Their reception was held in the main banquet hall of Temple (Landmark) Theatre. It was a grand wedding. Angela looked so beautiful, elegant, and sassy all at the same time. Kris was like the knight in shining armor getting married to his bride-princess. There are certain people in the world who are always filled with energy and full of life… Kris and Angela are definitely two of those special people. They were such a fun couple to work with. Angela has a well known last name in Tacoma which she shares with her cousin Erik, who I was good friends with in grade school.
Here’s a slide show from their wedding. I will have an awesome music video clip online in the near future.

Here are some of my favorite pictures:

Children and kids, namely flower girls and ring boys, are always a site to see at weddings. Usually they are nieces and/or nephews of the bride and groom or children of the bride and groom’s best friends. We should create a complilation video of all the flower girls and ring boys walking down the aisle one day. Doesn’t this flower girl have the most intense eyes. I call them Al Pacino eyes! Except she was absolutely adorable.

Rebekah caught this cute moment during a wedding reception when the mother had her back turned. Kids are so smart!

These twin sisters and their little sister had to be one of our cutest little flower girls…
